where can I find some good ideas/recipes that will help me plan a party?
My daughters initial communion is this year, as well as you will have a family during a residence after a church for a meal. There will be we estimate 50 people. we will not have time to hope for any food a day of a party, so we am seeking for recipes, or menu formulation which we can hope for a day prior to with minimal credentials a day of a event. Does any one have any suggestions?

Think casseroles, cookie bars and assot rolls
You can do the casserole months in advance and freeze. When you go to church place frozen casserole in 350 oven, this should take 1-1/2 to 2 hours cooking time. 2 of the large foil roasting pans should serve 50-60 easy. cover w/ foil uncover last 15 min to brown top
You can set out the buffet table that night before, plates, silverware (pre wrap fork, knife, spoon and nice napkin)
cookies, baskets for rolls, place asst rolls in lg plastic bag and just dump before guest arrive. set up your coffee urn and make your tea before church. Before guest arrive set out casseroles, put ice in ice chest and you to can be the hostess with the mostess…..Enjoy
