You could start a content rich website on the topic you know well but having difficulty selling. All you need is a website that helps you do that and even helps you monetize through your persnal website.

Good Luck!
I hope you find what works.

LikeDislikeI think that is a GREAT idea, many women are afraid to ask their friends to a party that might sell items that will make others wonder about them or talk about them. With “Romance” items, women are not going to invite a very large circle of Friends. Now bath and spa items, that is a completely different story.
You might leave in a few of the milder “Romance” items and be fine though, just don’t push them to hard. You might be surprised at how many women will ignore them completely but then order them if they can do so discretely.
Way to use you head, I think you are on the right path!
Peace!

LikeDislikeFrom one who has been there, I think the approach is MUCH better and will get a wider range of interest. Not to say you can’t have catalogs, etc… on the other products with you…
I tried it, but the biggest struggle regardless of product or company is that very few like going to ‘parties’ anymore. We all know when we get invited to one of these things, we are going to be expected to buy SOMETHING. We all know that we are going to be asked to host our own party. Some reps are very low key about this, but others are flat-outright over bearing to the point you want to say something not so nice because they don’t understand ‘no thank you – not interested’..
Point in fact… I have been invited to an Arbonne party next week. I don’t use the products, have no interest in looking at more of something I don’t need and less on feeling like I have to buy something I won’t use. My first response would be to say ‘no thank you’ and not go.
However, it’s a good friend of mine who has been hounded (her words) for a year by this woman to have a party. The first time she scheduled it, no one showed up, luckily I had a previous engagement so I had an excuse. This time, I am going, dragging my feet, simply for my friend. It’s time I could be doing something else I might enjoy, but time I will make for my friend.
I think you’ll have better chances of booking more parties if you go with the – products for anyone – rather than the sensual side. What have you got to lose by trying?
And even though I was not with the same company, I have a nice three fold flier you might want to look at and modify for your products. If interested, send me an email address and I will attach the flier and get it off to you.
Good luck – nothing ventured, nothing gained.
