I know of two origami rose models. Here are their diagrams:
1) the kawasaki rose (pdf)-
2)
In my opinion, the kawasaki rose is easier to make. But the second rose looks better.

LikeDislikeToshikazu Kawasaki actually has come up with at least 5 rose designs of varying complexity… I have instructions on my own site for a variation of one of Kawasaki’s roses and when I start with an 8.5 inch square, I get roses about three inches across.. I’ve made roses about the size of a quarter using 2.5 inch notebook cube papers (not post-its because the glue backing kinda gets in the way). Obviously smaller paper makes smaller roses and it does get more difficult to make them as they get smaller.. lots of work but depending on what you’re doing it for, it’s probably worth it.
As for bead sculptures? I’m afraid that’s a little beyond my scope of experience.
