Any one know how to make an origami sombrero or how to make one similiar?
I wish to have the little sort of sombrero which will fit the pressed animal. So it doesnt have to be large or anything to fit the tellurian head. we was anticipating we could find out how to have an origami sombrero similar to the paper shawl sort thing. Thanks!!
I essentially only saw which same video, as well as we didn’t consider it incited out similar to the sombrero is ostensible to demeanour like, my mother didn’t consider so either. Thanks though

LikeDislikeIt’s not as far off as it looked.
Begin with paper the size of a full newspaper section.
Proceed as shown in the video until you have it like a square.
When you fold the open corner up to the opposite point, then unfold and re-fold to the fold line and then fold up again. Do the same on both sides. Now it *doesn’t* look like an Admiral’s hat.
Do the flip the reforms the triangle shape into a square again. This time fold the open points up about 1/3 of the way on both sides.
Manually round stuff out and poke the pointy top down inside. It’s a pitiful excuse for a sombrero, but it does look more like one than the original model.
I learned the original from a children’s television segment about 50 years ago. I consider it to be my first contact with anything related to origami, although it’s not oriental. There are similar Western paper-folding traditions.
