Should I be a temp or do volunteer work?
I am a new connoisseur with no work knowledge as well as am looking ways to benefit knowledge – we have dual transparent opportunities lined up as well as need to know that a most appropriate preference – we have a permanent Volunteer event as an executive partner (9-5) as well as we have proxy offers from a staffing group – once each week or so – that should we select – we wish to have a right preference – we rsther than give up a income for a knowledge right right away – so what should we select – what will demeanour improved to my destiny “permanent employer” wheer we will be operative full time as well as removing paid – help.

Well from your description i would suggest the full time experience. It dont look m,uch impressive if you work somewhere once a week or so. Also try to find a temp position which is fulltime so you can get padi and have some experience. Good luck!

LikeDislikePersonally as an employer I like volunteer work experience. It shows that you care about something and if I can get you to care about my business it will help me a great deal. If you choose the voluteer work make sure you have a passion for what they are doing and that will carry you a long way, maybe to a point where you care more about the good you are doing than the resume you are building and then you get both.
You get to do good and build a powerful resume. It is obvious to an employer when someone has “built” a resume to get the job and then they risk being another stepping stone for you. On the other hand if you do things for more than just money they have a chance to keep you over the long term even if you are offered a bigger, better deal someplace else. That then sets you apart and you get a position where they care about you as a person and not just a number Why? Because that is how you are acting as well.
Bottom line:
Choose your passion.

LikeDislikeEach offer has its perks. On one hand, if you work long term with the volunteering organization, that will demonstrate your commitment. Alternately, employers like to see that you’ve done paid work. Can you find out more about the temp opportunity? If you’d working as a temp administrative assistant or secretary, then taking the position with pay will be a better decision for your career and for paying your expenses. Some temps can lead to permanent employment. Maybe you could let the volunteer agency know that you’re considering other opportunities, and then they could decide to pay you after all. Paid work is better, but this is also a decision you’ll have to make for yourself based on a cost/benefits analysis of your options. Good luck!
