For example babysitting, newspaper routes...anything like that if you havent had a job before. under the name describe your resposibilities of the job. ex) baby sitting for the saintbergs 2008 - watched children -acted responsibly - followed rules of parents News paper route 2000-2005 - cautious thinking - dependable - delivering on time Volunteer work here you write volunteer work along with there dates. Order from oldest at bottom most recent at top. If you have none dont include this. Achievements list achievements and thier dates. If you wanted a job like in a BIG buisness like IMB or some corperate thing you would want a more perfessional one, but im assuming your just a kid. so this was how i did my first resume and i got the job :) You also might want a cover letter which is just a short intro on a seperate paper before your reume. It basically goes like this... date dear human resource manager, I would like to work at Baskin Robins. I like your store and am fermiliar with it. I fee; it would be a sutable place for me to work. I would be a hard deticated worker... sencerily, (leave a blank when you print then sign you signature with a pen) your name typed hope it helps...its rough, dont use my word use big, itelligent words. Mine are just crap word examples to give you an idea. Use a thuthorus if needed. put it on white paper with new times roman font. Not to big of a size id say 10-14. Use the size that fills the page best. Never make a reume over 3 pages (excluding the cover letter) good luck!!! here is a draft resume format
