How to invite college friends for birthday but don’t want to pay for their meals?
I am mouth-watering the garland of college friends to go out to cooking with me for my birthday. we wish them to compensate for their dishes as well as we don't design any presents. we don't know how to write the email to entice them? Should we spirit upon payment/no present? If so, how can we hint? Or is it the enlightenment between college students which they would compensate for themselves as well as they will not design me to compensate for them?
People generally expect that everyone will pay for themselves when they go out to eat in groups. I've been to many birthday dinners and, while it's never been explicitly mentioned, people tend not to buy gifts and they pay for themselves. I don't think that you'll have to say it outright, it's become somewhat of a norm.
