Once you're qualified as a doctor, if you chose to try to work in the US you will have to have an employer apply for your work visa. And to David, "no shortage of medical doctors in the US"...WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING?! We have a HUGE shortage of primary care providers in this country. Ditto nurses and technicians.
