How and When To Jog Your Dog

I usually feed my Golden at 5pm and jog with him about 6pm, 1 hour later after his dinner. I’ve been asking myself, is this a good practice? Is this good for my dogs?

Well, if you have the same doubt, here is the answer for my question.

“You should wait until at least 2 hours after a meal before heavy excersise with a large breed dog. If your going to run him then do it before he eats then alow him to cool down for at least 2 hours after before you feed him.
This help prevent bloat.
So I think you should time it so your dog either has enough time to rest either way. Also do not do heavy exercise in the heat of the day. Early mornings or later in the evenings is best to prevent heat stroke.

ADD: He should rest for at least an hour after a good work out! OK Then feed him!”
