How To Solve Rapidshare IP Conflict Issue

Getting this error message?

“The premium account 50xxx32 is already in use with another ip. It looks like this account is used on different computers at the same time.”

How to fix this problem with IP address in Rapidshare?

I’ve been receiving this error since morning due to IP conflict. I believe this is the consequence of the newly implemented security enhancement to tackle account sharing. But the Rapidshare team is totally forgot there is a large group of users are having dynamic IP.

Email already sent to Rapidshare Support team, now pending their reply.

Below is the solution tested working.

1. Note down your previous IP and current IP (IP: 218.208.226.5 - 60.50.6.0/24.) from their error message.

2. If you are using dynamic IP, keep trying until you get the first 2 digits same. It sounds stupid but it works.

3. If you have a file downloading halfway and stop, you will get this error. You MUST finish a file from an IP before start the next file.

4. Remember, ONLY 1 IP can downloading at 1 time. A stopped download is consider as DOWNLOADING.

What I suggest is temp ALWAYS LOGOUT after download. I’ve been looking for other solution at Google but so far nothing found yet. Will update you guys when I got this totally solved.

    This is really gay!!! , I mean everything was working fine yesterday now i get this damn error , I have a really long list of split files and I’m premium and usually I let my IDM download for me when i’m sleep , NOW I GOTTA FUCKING DOWNLOAD EACH FILE BY ITSELF!! FUCK RAPIDSHARE! i might fcking sue their asses for lying and saying premium accounts arent monitored by IP …………!!!!

    Is there any solution for this problem yet? Did RS reply to you?

    Its getting really frustrating to download anything from RS.com, and also the speed of download went down a lot. Does any one of you guys have a problem with Speed?

    I got the reply from them after 2 days, which the account lock already release.

    1 important message from them is >> If your provider changes your IP address frequently, you can start a second download 15 minutes after the first one stopped.

    Below is the reply from them.

    “We apologize for the problems you are having with our service at the moment.
    Please follow the instructions below to try to resolve the problem.

    1. Please visit the Website “whatismyip.com”, or “wasistmeineip.de” to check your current IP address.
    If two different addresses are displayed, it is likely that your Internet connection is rerouted via proxy servers. In this case we suggest to contact your network administrator or internet service provider to find a solution for the problem. You can tell him that we tolerate different IP addresses within a class C network.

    2. If the IP check displayed only one or two identical IP addresses, but you still encounter problems, please check the download logs in your premium zone (premium zone/view logs). If the table lists various IP addresses used at the same day and you do not recognize any of them, it is likely that your account is being used by an unauthorized person. We strongly suggest to check your computer for “trojans” or “key loggers” and to change your password (premium zone/settings).

    If your provider changes your IP address frequently, you can start a second download 15 minutes after the first one stopped.”
